Hello, my name is Claudette Labrie, I’m French Canadian.

I chose to live in Costa Rica because my work made me travel between Mexico and South America, so I said “Why not live there all year?”

Costa Rica is a democratic country where medical care is very good, we have public and private hospitals, primary schools, colleges and universities internationally recognised.

The Central Pacific has beautiful long beaches with panoramic views and an ambient temperature between 26° and 34° (79° to 93° Fahrenheit) throughout the year.

Personally, I hate the cold, so I said goodbye to our winters in Quebec and I went with my son, who was 13 at the time, to this hot country. I’d be lying if I said it was always easy, but today, after more than 23 years, I can assist you with this new experience.
